Real Madrid are reportedly ready to sell Martin Odegaard following his stunning start to the new season.
According to ESPN, as cited on Calcimercato, the Spanish giants could be tempted to cash in on the Norwegian.
Odegaard has started the season in fantastic form, resulting in interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
Should the Gunners swoop in with Real ready to sell?
It may surprise some supporters and even Arsenal to learn that Odegaard could be available in the coming months.
After a stunning start to the season in La Liga, it appeared that he would still have a place in Real Madrid’s long-term plans.
However, after hearing that he could be sold, the Gunners may want to change their transfer stance.
Any deal to sign Odegaard would be a huge risk, purely from the lack of senior football he has played in recent years. However, if Real Madrid are demanding a reasonable fee for his services, this could just be a risk worth taking.
The best is yet to come from Odegaard, who will only continue to improve as he gets more game time under his belt.
Arsenal need to add some creativity to their midfield and after four goal contributions in eight league games this season, the 20-year-old is showing plenty of promise. If the price is right, the Gunners should consider getting a deal done.
