Chelsea are one of three clubs to have tabled a bid to sign Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo this month, according to Goal.com.
The Portuguese is reportedly unhappy at Real Madrid for a number of reasons. Goal.com believe he is unhappy at Madrid’s pursuit of Neymar, while The Sun believe he is unhappy with Florentino Perez refusal to honor their agreement of increasing his pay.
Whichever way it is believed he is unhappy at Santiago Bernabeu and is looking to complete a move away from the Spanish capital.
The Express earlier reported that the five time Ballon d’Or winner is open to a move to the Blues, now Spanish outlet Don Balon believe the London club have made an offer for him to join them rather than his former side Man United.
The news seems likely to be a rumor with the 89 million it’ll take to bring Ronaldo to England astronomical for a 32-year-old. But the Express believe he is wanted by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, so the next few days will tell.
