Sead Kolasinac recovered from his knock against Northern Ireland to feature in a draw with the Netherlands on Sunday, proving the injury was nothing serious.

Although he missed out on the starting lineup, Sead Kolasinac came off the bench to play 45 minutes against the Netherlands on Sunday, shaking off a knock from earlier in the week.

Kolasinac played 118 minutes of the European Championship qualifier against Northern Ireland last Thursday, but he limped off the pitch with a couple of minutes to go. Bosnia were on top at that stage, so there was no reason to fake it to waste time.

Fortunately, it seems the problem was nothing serious. Kolasinac played the second half against the Netherlands and put in a pretty good performance. He made a couple of clearances, completed his only dribble, and 87% of his passes including two of two long balls.

With Kieran Tierney a doubt for Manchester City given the coronavirus issue in the Scotland camp (despite testing negative for the virus and positive for the antibodies), Mikel Arteta may well call on Kolasinac for Arsenal’s next game.
