Malcom wants out of Barcelona this summer, reports the Mirror, who claims the player’s agent has informed the club of the same.
Malcom was a subject of interest from several clubs but he opted to join Barcelona in a five year deal last summer.
Since his arrival to the Camp Nou, the Brazilian winger has seen his stock reduced over lack of adequate playing time. He managed only 15 cameos in the league last season and the signing of Antoine Griezmann has pushed him further down the selection pecking order of the club.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are in the market to sign a replacement for Danny Welbeck, who was released as a free agent this summer and they have been linked with the signing of several wingers including Malcom and Zaha.
The Gunners have seen bids for Zaha turned down and they are on the look out for cheaper alternatives.
Everton have also signaled their interest to sign the 22-year-old winger but Arsenal are believed to be in pole position to sign him because of Edu.
And the Mirror claim Malcom’s agent have told Barcelona to allow the player leave this summer as he desires regular game time.
Barcelona are now more than likely going to allow the player leave as it is given that they have a plethora of wingers.
Due to the lack of transfer funds, Arsenal are looking sign the player on loan but it is unclear if Barcelona will sanction a move for the winger.
