Eric Bailly is back for Manchester United’s clash with Huddersfield in the FA Cup.

Bailly has not played for Manchester United since their 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in November due to an ankle injury.

But Mourinho has revealed Bailly has returned to training this week and is in contention to play in Saturday’s FA Cup fifth-round tie.

However, Marcus Rashford, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera remain on the sidelines with injuries.

Bailly’s return from injury is a timely boost as they resume Champions League action next week against Sevilla.

In Bailly’s absence, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling have failed to convince at times but the Ivorian could go straight into the starting XI for United.

In October, Huddersfield beat United 2-1 but earlier this month goals from Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba handed the Reds a 2-0 win.

And Mourinho says his players need to be ready for a tough match.

Mourinho said: “We did it very very serious so obviously Huddersfield is a much better team than Yeovil, obviously they have different ambitions.

“Yeovil wanted to be a giant killer, Huddersfield wants to progress and try to make something beautiful in the cup.

“So we have to be ready and we played Huddersfield very recently, a couple of weeks ago, we know who they are how they try to play, we lost this season in their stadium so we can’t be caught by surprise.”
