Despite Liverpool recording 68 per cent possession in the match, Jurgen Klopp was left frustrated his side failed to take advantage of their opportunities to take points from the game.

The Liverpool boss has now slammed Jose Mourinho’s men insisting his men “doesn’t look like they’ll win all their games”.

“We won’t stop,” Klopp said.

“Of course it matters but we need to win football games and obviously we lost today and now it’s five points. I think they all play against each other, Man United doesn’t look like they’ll win all their games 5-0, so maybe they lose a game.

“We have to win our games. We have Watford next and win that. Are we under pressure? We are under pressure when they are five points clear or two points behind – we are constantly under pressure, that’s our life.

“So yes, we have to win football games.”
