Eddie Nketiah has made an excellent start to life with Leeds United, scoring four times in six appearances.

The 20-year-old is averaging a goal every 62 minutes for the Whites and played a vital role in Leeds’ 2-0 win over Barnsley on the weekend.

Nketiah, who is yet to start a Championship game, replaced Patrick Bamford with just 20 minutes to go at Oakwell and found the back of the net 14 minutes later by exquisitely turning home Kalvin Phillips’ free-kick.

However, officials at Elland Road are reportedly stressing about the possibility of the Gunners recalling the forward in the new year.

According to The Athletic’s Phil Hay, Arsenal have the option of bringing the striker back to the Emirates in January if he doesn’t make a certain number of appearances.

And these Arsenal fans were quick to respond to the news, with the majority believing Nketiah should remain in Yorkshire for the remainder of the campaign no matter what.

We’re with these Arsenal fans in believing that the Gunners should allow the forward to remain at Elland Road for the rest of the season.

It looks extremely likely that Arsenal won’t even be handed the choice on whether or not to recall Nketiah, with Marcelo Bielsa using the striker in six of the seven fixtures when he has been part of the matchday squad.

Of course, Arsenal officials will be hoping Nketiah is handed a regular spot from the start over the coming months, and following his recent form, that doesn’t appear to be very far away.
