Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea will return for Bordeaux winger Malcom in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

According to the London Evening Standard via ESPN, Wenger is already planning to big money moves for next summer and one of them is Malcom.

The Gunners tried to sign Malcom in the winter but Bordeaux didn’t want to lose their star winger mid-season.

The Brazilian was identified as a possible replacement for Alexis Sanchez who joined Manchester United but Bordeaux reluctance to do business caused Wenger to turn his attention to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Valued around €50m in January, Malcom is one of Brazil’s brightest talents and if he continues to perform, it is very unlikely that Bordeaux will accept anything less than that figure.

Wenger appear to be a big fan of Malcom, pushing so hard to sign him in January. The player was said to be keen on a move to the Emirates but Bordeaux desire to keep him was ultimate. The French club would be more receptive to doing business in the summer, so it is logical that Arsenal returns for him.

However, we are expected to face competition from Tottenham for Malcom’s signature. The winger also features top of Pochettino’s wish-list and they also spent the whole winter trying to sign him before they settled for Lucas Moura.
