Report from the Mirror who cited Le10 Sport claims a deal worth £170million has been agreed between Chelsea and Real Madrid for Eden Hazard.

According to Le10 Sport, Madrid have stepped up talks to sign Hazard this week and a ‘first agreement’ has been reached with Chelsea over a £170m deal.

The report claims that the Champions League holders have already held talks with Hazard’s father about the player’s contract and now negotiations have begun with Chelsea.

Hazard’s time at Chelsea appears to be coming to an end after the Belgium star openly courted a move away from Stamford Bridge.

The forward was one of the top performers at this summer’s World Cup but he would not be playing Champions League football next season if he was to remain at Chelsea.

Real Madrid are desperate to find a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Juventus for close to £100million last week.

Barcelona are also in the race to sign Hazard and earlier this week, reports in Spain claimed that the Spanish champions were willing to offer Ousmane Demebele as part of their bid for the Belgian.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are refusing to sell and has refused to rule out the prospect of keeping Hazard
