Manchester United are willing to include Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea target Anthony Martial in their bid to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho has reportedly given United’s hierarchy the green light to offload the 22-year-old the summer after being frustrated with his inconsistent performances this season.
Martial is also believed to be unhappy at Old Trafford and is refusing to sign a new contract on offer from United.
Alexis Sanchez’s arrival from Arsenal in the January transfer window has also cut Martial’s opportunity to be given an extended run in the team.
According to the Daily Mirror, United are targeting Pulisic as a replacement and are prepared to make a move this summer.
The report claims that United are willing to use Martial as a makeweight in a player-plus-cash deal.
Earlier this month, reports in Germany claimed that Dortmund would want at least €60 million (£53m) for the 19-year-old as he is one of the most sought-after young players in Europe.
Liverpool have already had bids rejected for the United States international, while Chelsea and Arsenal also have an interest.
Pulisic has scored four goals and registered five assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances this season, while he is also comfortable with playing on either flank.
Pulisic’s current contract with Dortmund will still have two years left to run this summer.
