Manchester United seems ready to convince Athletico Madrid’s Antonio Griezmann to move to Old Trafford.

Manchester United was interested in the France International last summer before switching their focus to signing Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.

Jose Mourinho earlier disclosed that Manchester United is expected to sign up to four new players ahead of next season including one who would ‘cost a lot’

The 26 years old is expected to leave at the end of the season. Griezmann’s buyout clause of €100m makes the forward an attractive prospect in a market where Neymar cost Paris Saint Germain €222m and Coutinho is priced at €160m.

The Spanish top side Barcelona declared interest in the 26 years old France International Antonio Griezmann but reports claim Messi does not want him at Camp Nou. Instead, he supposedly advised Barcelona to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.

With Barcelona indecisive, Manchester United seem the top frontiers in the battle for the 26 years old France International.
