According to the Mirror, Chelsea new manager Maurizio Sarri is reportedly planning a sneak deal to sign Liverpool target Alisson Becker from AS Roma.
Liverpool are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign the goalkeeper from Roma, with the two sides opening talks over a summer deal.
Jurgen Klopp side made a new bid of €75m (£66.9m) for Alisson and are close to sealing a world-record deal for the Brazilian goalkeeper.
Liverpool made an initial €70m bid for Alisson on Tuesday, which was rejected, but the clubs are now close to reaching a deal and Liverpool are making arrangements for the 25-year-old’s medical, BBC reports.
Thibaut Courtois is reportedly closing in on a move to Real Madrid, but Chelsea will be keen to have his replacement signed before sanctioning a deal.
