Reports suggest AS Roma are already lining up to sign Maurizio Sarri.
The Chelsea boss is reportedly edging closer to be shown the exit door despite a contract until June 2021, the Blues owner Roman Abramovich is considering sacking the former Napoli man, mainly due to to the fact that Sarri has not exactly earned the appreciation of the fans.
Despite the turnaround in fortunes, Sarri oversaw a crushing period for Chelsea which has seen him lose the faith of the fans – and his future is not secure as a result.
While Roma and their interim manager Claudio Ranieri are parting ways on somewhat amicable terms, the same cannot be said for his countryman, Sarri, the subject of intense sacking rumors throughout the majority of his first season in the Premiership.
Roma and AC Milan are both ready to make Sarri an offer and bring him back to Italy.
It is believed that Roma are especially keen on the former Napoli boss and are pushing hard to get a deal done.
