Chelsea have been handed a massive boost in signing Suso from AC Milan in January, per Calcio Mercato.
Suso continues to draw interest from across Europe, but the Spanish winger has yet to be handed a new deal from the Old ladies.
The Spanish star has scored four and assisted eight in 12 starts this season, drawing interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid.
However, the former Liverpool midfielder is said to be keen on a Milan stay if the club were to offer a renewal soon.
Suso proved a flop in the Premier League at Liverpool and subsequently left the Reds for Milan in 2015.
And now the 24-year-old is at the centre of transfer interest from two of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web claims in the week that Sarri had taken ‘the first steps’ towards landing Suso in January.
The report claims the club are working to secure their playmaker a new contract that would increase his clause to £52.6m (€60m).
Suso joined Liverpool as a youth player in 2010 and came through the reserve ranks before making the first team two years later.
But the winger failed to make an impact at Anfield and ended up back in Spain on loan at Almeria.
He moved to Milan in January 2015 but struggled initially there, going on loan to Genoa before returning to Milan as a first-team regular.
