Arsenal are one of the numerous clubs reportedly interested in Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.
When a Madrid player isn’t playing or performing as much as expected, the Spanish media are fond of linking them with an exit and Arsenal are always touted as suitors.
Last week it was Karim Benzema, yesterday it was Marco Asensio and now it is Ceballos.
Just like Asensio, Arsenal are one of almost six clubs interested in Ceballos.
This report unsurprisingly originated from Diario Go [via Tribal Football] and it claims AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma and Arsenal are all expressing interest in signing Ceballos.
To make their claim sound more credible, they say the midfielder who moved to the Bernabeu from Real Betis last summer wasn’t Zidane’s choice but Fiorentino Perez’s, who pushed for his signing.
Even if true, it is unlikely that Perez would give up on a player he personally pushed to sign just six months after.
It is true that Ceballos isn’t playing regularly but what would you expect when you are competing with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luca Modric, Isco, Matheo Kovacic.
I don’t need anyone to tell me that Madrid will sell Ceballos in the summer and also, I don’t need to be told that Arsenal aren’t interested in the midfielder.
It’s all made up!
