After Manchester United remarkable win at Tottenham, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed Giuseppe Rossi is training with the Red Devils, but United are unlikely to re-sign their former forward.

“We are not going to sign Giuseppe, I don’t think,” he told Sky Sports. “He’s training well with us, he looks sharp. He’s looking for a job and a club, so he’s probably going to stay another week with us unless someone takes him.

“He scored a fantastic goal in training and yesterday the gaffer turned around and said ‘what about that son?’ We’re helping him get fit before his next move. If there are any takers, they should be quick.”

The 31-year-old was released by Genoa in the summer and Solskjaer, who played with the forward before he left the club in 2007, has allowed him to train at Carrington.

And it’s not just Rossi who’s been spotted at the training ground recently either, Sir Alex Ferguson has also been back to Carrington since Solskjaer took over.
