England youngster and Arsenal midfielder Ben Sheaf has agreed personal terms to join Doncaster Rovers on a loan deal, reports Footballinsider.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined the Arsenal academy from West Ham in the 2014 but his development has been somewhat slow.
He spent the second half of the penultimate season on loan at League two club Stevenage, where he featured in only 10 games for the side before returning to Arsenal.
The rising star has made only two appearances for the senior team of Arsenal but he has spent most his time in the Premier League 2 with Arsenal U23.
But now, the versatile midfielder wants to take his career further in a club where he’d be featured regularly.
The report claims and agreement in now in place for him to seal a six months loan move with Darren Moore side as his first signing of this summer.
Unai Emery left him out of the Gunner’s squad for their pre-season tour in the United State, and he has sanctioned a loan move for the player.
Sheaf has to take charge of his career – at 21, if he cannot break into the first team of Arsenal, he should consider somewhere else.
