Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears to be in good spirits ahead of Arsenal’s visit to Liverpool this weekend.
And who can blame him?
He’s started the new Premier League season right where he left off the 2018/2019 campaign – by scoring goals as he aims to fire the Gunners back into the top four as well as winning the Golden Boot award outright.
The 30-year-old looks set to lead the line against the Reds and he could very well be joined in attack by club record signing Nicolas Pepe.
Following his £72m summer transfer from Ligue 1 outfit Lille, the Ivory Coast international has made two substitute appearances so far as head coach slowly introduces him to life in English football.
Judging by the 45 minutes against Burnley, Pepe looks like he could frighten Premier League defences when up to full speed.
But is the winger not a fan of cold water?
That seems to be the case as Aubameyang could not contain his laughter when uploading video to Instagram of his new teammate struggling to cope with just how cold the water in the pool was.
Take a look at the hilarious video clip below…
For a large part of the second half against Burnley, Arsenal fans were given a glimpse of the Aubameyang-Lacazette-Pepe attacking trio.
Something which Aubameyang has promised will be “crazy” once they’ve struck up an understanding with each other.
“For sure it is going to be crazy. I am sure of that,” the Gunners star said following the 1-0 win over Newcastle United on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.
