The bookies believe Man United are leading Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign Paris Saint Germain misfit Lucas Moura this January, according to the Daily Star.
Ian Marmion who is the Director of trading at BetStar said “Manchester United have emerged as the 6/4 favourites with BetStars to sign Paris St-Germain outcast Lucas Moura who has slipped down the pecking order at the Parc de Princes.
“The 25-year-old has been a long-term target for United, with Sir Alex Ferguson eyeing up a move for the winger back in 2012, and now the Red Devils looked primed to finally get their man in January.
“Inter Milan are also in the hunt for Moura and can be backed at 6/1 to hijack United’s deal, while Chelsea and Roma are both priced at 12/1 to make a swoop for the Brazilian midfielder.”
The Brazilian international has made 147 appearances during his time at Paris Saint Germain scoring 37 times, however big-name arrivals at the club over the years has reduced his role in the team and he would now be looking to move to stand an outside chance of going to the World Cup.
