Lucas Perez is set to leave Arsenal again when he returns from his season long loan at Deportivo and this time he might be going to Italy, with Lazio keen to sign him according to the Mirror.
The Spaniard rejoined his former club Deportivo la Coruna this season on loan after failing to impress following his move to Arsenal in 2016.
It was thought that he might make a permanent move back to Spain with Deportivo after his loan, but with the Spanish side now relegated from the top division he is in a difficult position.
However, he has a lifeline as reports from Italy say that Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare is a big fan of his, and would want to bring him to the Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio are expected to make a move at the end of the season with an initial loan containing a clause with an option to buy.
Since arriving at Arsenal in 2016, Perez has seen the Gunners sign Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and sold Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott who were keeping him on the bench last season, so it’s safe to say Lucas Perez has no future at Arsenal.
