A rising star for Real Madrid-Jese Rodriguez

Top scorer for Spain in U-20 Worldcup and one of the promising homegrown young player for Real Madrid. After a decade, The Whites have found this 20-year-old Spaniard from their youth team.

He has good finishing, good with one-to-one handling and speed. Cristiano Ronaldo’s three-match ban has opened opportunity for him to prove his talent to fans and team officials.

Real Madrid’s legend and assistant coach Zinedine Zidane has supported and helped Jese Rodriguez from the beginning.

Jese has scored 22 goals in 38 matches for Castilla, youth team, and star of the U-19 European Championship.

Fans are waiting for a long time to see a homegrown player. Jese become favourite for manager Carlo Ancelotti over Isco, who signed from Malaga. Ancelotti mentioned him as “crazy talent”, after his outstanding opening goal.

In early matches, Jese’s goal scoring accuracy and percentage is better than club’s world record transfer Gareth Bale.

Jese said after a good start in Real Madrid : “I am very happy about the goals I’m scoring, about helping the team and I have to go on like this. This might be the best moment for me so far, but I am not satisfied. I’m ambitious and I always want more.

“I am dedicating myself to helping the team, making the best use of the game time the manager gives me. This is what I have to do, my job, and I am happy.” he added.

“The more goals I can score, the better, and I set myself a target of 10 goals this season, and that’s important, because at this club you never know if you’ll get a game, with the really big star players there are here. And I’m taking the fullest advantage. I have to carry on making it difficult for the manager to decide things.”

He used his chances with fine goals and assists. If he gets more chances, he will secure a place in start team of Real Madrid.
