SPAL star goalkeeper Alfred Gomis has revealed that he dreams of playing for Arsenal one day, according to the Daily Express.
Gomis moved to SPAL from Torino during the summer after series of loan spell and has been a standout performer in the league this season.
SPAL currently sit 14th on the Serie A table and have received a lot of plaudits for their performances this season, with Gomis playing a key role.
Though early days, the young goalkeeper’s future is already being talked about, and when asked about it, he admitted he dreams of being at Arsenal one day.
“My future? My wish would be Arsenal,” he told Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I’ve loved the English team since I was a kid.”
As things stand, a move to Arsenal doesn’t look likely anytime soon as the Gunners are well stocked in the goalkeeping department.
Bernd Leno was added during the summer bringing to 3 the number of first team goalkeepers in Unai Emery’s squad. There’s also David Ospina and Matt Macey who are both out on loan.
However, in the world of football there are no impossibilities, should he keep improving and turning out good performances for his club, one day he might just get his dream move.
