Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi will be loaned to Monaco until the end of the season, according to Sky Sports.
The deal will not include an option to buy at the end of the current campaign.
Batshuayi is expected to be in Monaco on Sunday for his medical, and his transfer should be announced by Monday.
Monaco manager Thierry Henry wanted to sign a striker to partner Radamel Falcao up front or to rotate with the Colombia international, and Batshuayi became available after his initial season-loan long at Valencia was cut short by the Spanish club this week.
Batshuayi has struggled to pin down a regular place in the Blues team since arriving in west London in 2016.
On his Friday his agent, Meissa N’Diaye, had travelled to the principality to discuss terms with Monaco after Batshuayi’s loan deal with Valencia was cut short by Chelsea.
The Sky Sport can confirm that the Belgium international will join up with the 2016-17 Ligue 1 champions until the summer.
“I know him well, we were close with Belgium,” Monaco boss Thierry Henry said of the forward last week. “We’ll see what happens. He’s an interesting player.”
Everton had been considering a bid of up £18 million ($23m) for Batshuayi given they are unable to sign him on loan.
