The Mirror claims Alexis Sanchez has been left furious after being left out o Jose Mourinho squad list against Young Boys in the Champions League this week, the Mirror reports.

Sanchez only joined United in January, as part of a swap deal with Arsenal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but does not feel he has a future at the club under Mourinho.

The Chilean international relationship with Mourinho is at breaking point after the Manchester United striker did not even make the substitutes’ bench for the Champions League win over Young Boys on Tuesday night.

It has strengthened the former Arsenal star’s determination to quit Old Trafford after less than a year as he fears he has no future at the club under Mourinho.

Sanchez, who is on wages in excess of £350,000-a-week at United, has told pals he wants to leave Manchester and has set his heart on a move to star-studded French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

After the victory on Tuesday, Mourinho confirmed that Sanchez was not injured, effectively confirming publicly that the player had been dropped.

He said: ‘No, Sanchez is not injured. But it’s quite curious you always speak about the ones that are not playing.’

Sanchez was unveiled to great fanfare last January after the swap with Mkhitaryan was confirmed, but he has failed to live up to expectation.

He has scored just four times in 30 appearances for the Red Devils, with just one goal in the 2018-19 season.
