Arsenal target Dayot Upamecano could leave RB Leipzig in a €60 million deal next summer.

According to Kicker, it is looking more and more likely that the French defender will seek pastures new at the end of the season.

Having been linked with a Premier League switch previously, Upamecano could pursue a move away from the Bundesliga as he’ll see his release clause drop to €60 million.

The defender’s current contract at Leipzig includes a release clause that drops by €20 million with every passing season.

Arsenal were heavily linked with a move to sign the player last summer, with his release clause set at €80 million.

However, the Gunners could only muster up a bid in the region of €60 million, which was rejected.

The 20-year-old has established himself as one of the better Bundesliga defenders around at the minute and he’s unlikely to be short of suitors if he were to become available next year.
