Manchester United or Liverpool would be a much better destination for reported Arsenal target Kalidou Koulibaly, claims pundit Craig Burley.
Napoli centre-back Koulibaly has been linked with a summer move to Arsenal.
The Senegal international has played an integral part in leading Napoli to the top of Serie A this season.
Burley is aware Arsenal need to improve their defence but admits their Premier League rivals also do.
And he reckons Koulibaly would prefer to play in the Champions League, a competition Arsenal again look unlikely to qualify for next season.
“No (I can’t see him moving to Arsenal), Burley told ESPN FC.
“I could see it maybe to England.
“Top of the league at the moment by a point over Juve after their narrow in. As you said he’s playing well, big and strong.
“Arsenal are out of the top four, not in the Champions League as we speak. They’re one of the struggling top teams in England.
“There are better teams I think he can go to and most of them are looking for centre halves.
“If you look at England, Manchester Unitedare looking for a centre half probably, Man City are looking for centre halves, Liverpoolare looking for centre halves.
“So there are other teams in England I think would be ahead of Arsenal in the queue.”
Koulibaly has made 107 Serie A appearances since joining Napoli in 2014.
