Mesut Ozil (knee), Shkodran Mustafi (hamstring), Nacho Monreal (hamstring), Laurent Koscielny (back spasm) and Hector Bellerin (calf) have all returned to full training and will be assessed ahead of the clash with West Ham United, though Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin) looks likelier to feature for the under-23s on Monday despite his own return to the first-team fold.
Mustafi and Koscielny could join Sokratis at centre-half if Unai Emery persists with a 3-4-2-1/3-4-3, though Monreal is another option on the left-hand side of a back three.
Bellerin’s potential return will put pressure on Ainsley Maitland-Niles at right wing-back, while Ozil could possibly be deployed in the hole behind Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if Emery tweaks his system to a 3-4-1-2.
Alex Iwobi and Maitland-Niles have impressed in recent weeks, however, and arguably deserve to retain their starts.
Emery praised Aaron Ramsey despite the Welshman’s seemingly imminent move away from north London and the midfielder could again see action this weekend, most likely as a substitute if needed.
A rested Lucas Torreira looks set for a recall in central midfield, having started on the bench in both of Arsenal’s competitive fixtures in January.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan (ankle), Rob Holding (ACL) and Danny Welbeck (ankle) remain out.
