Arsenal have been accused of tapping up Raheem Sterling, with Wenger still keen on the England international.

Sterling was linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window as part of a swap deal that could have seen Sanchez move over to the Etihad but City weren’t interested in such swap deal, meaning the move couldn’t happen.

With Arsenal expected to lose Sanchez at the end of the season, Wenger is in the market for a new winger and Sterling is believed to be high on the manager’s radar.

It’s been widely reported that Arsenal could revisit a move for Sterling as early as the winter transfer window and those speculations have refused to go away.

Former Manchester United striker and Scotland forward Alan Brazil, is unhappy with the constant speculation surrounding Sterling’s future and believes it is Arsenal doing its best to unsettle the winger.

Brazil said on talkSPORT via the Mirror: “Is that not tapping up?

“The window’s shut now so we shouldn’t be talking about this until January, should we? And Arsene Wenger’s always whinging about tapping up.

“You know it’s illegal, it’s a joke. You should just get on with it. If you’re Sterling, how do you feel if you’re Sterling?”

I really don’t want to believe it is Arsenal sources who are leaking the club’s interest in Sterling into the media as it won’t be a nice thing to do. The transfer window is closed and ideally transfer rumors should  be getting this much publicity at the moment.

However, there may not be any truth in this, it could just be mere speculations at the end of the day.
