Arsenal have been handed a blow after it was revealed that Alexandre Lacazette will be out of action until October but every injury provides an opportunity.
For Arsenal fans, this opportunity should lead to the ascent of one of the club’s new signings.
The Gunners began the new campaign with a dominant looking front three on paper in the likes of Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and record signing Nicolas Pepe.
It was even predicted by some that Arsenal’s front three would outperform Liverpool’s terrific trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
However, Lacazette has stunted the growth of Arsenal’s trio inadvertently by suffering a minor ankle injury which will keep him out until October.
The natural thinking is to suggest that Reiss Nelson will be afforded the chance to take his game to another level in place of Lacazette but the majority of Arsenal fans disagree.
Whilst they acknowledge that Nelson will probably receive the nod for the clash against Watford this weekend, they want to see £6m summer signing Gabriel Martinelli start the contest.
