Villas-Boas Happy With Essien’s Comeback

Chelsea has lost their top position in the points table now but it’s not the end to them. Team Blue has to play more than 20 games in this season so they have the potential to come back at top. In the beginning of this season Chelsea has suffered by lot of injuries and red cards. Drogba got injured in the starting and Fernando Torres received red card when he returns to his real form. And Chelsea’s midfielder Michael Essien was suffered by injury from July. The good news for the Chelsea board is Essien’s come back to the team. He suffered by knee injury and this long time rest give him complete recover. His comeback adds more power to Chelsea and they have hopes on him.
Essien missed many games in 2008-09 season because of his knee injury and also missed 2010 World cup matches for this injury. He is playing for Chelsea from 2005. He is expected to join in the team on December and ready to show his game. Chelsea’s boss Andre Villas-Boas is happy about his return.
Villas-Boas said: “Essien is making good progress. We’re looking at the end of December, I think,”
