Arsenal unfavoured striker Danny Welbeck was seen celebrating after scoring a ridiculous goal in training.

The act of outrageous skill went down a storm on Twitter for the most part. But a lot of Arsenal fans weighed in with some less than complimentary tweets which suggested he should be concentrating on scoring from in front of the net instead of behind it.

One Arsenal fan tweeted: “Just a pity he can’t do it consistently in front of goal.” while another asked the club’s official Twitter account: “Can we focus on scoring actually in-game goals.”

Arsenal will face West Ham after losing their first two games to Manchester City and Chelsea and the former Manchester United striker will be hoping to secure a place in Emery’s starting XI ahead of the London derby this weekend.

The Gunner’s game against West Ham is going to be a huge game for both clubs. Emery told reporters today: “After the first two matches, we have two defeats and we need to win this match against West Ham. The difficulty is in this game because West Ham are a good team with good players and a good coach.”
