Barcelona target Clement Lenglet will only join the Spanish giants this summer if given certain assurances.

Sevilla defender Lenglet is on Barcelona’s radar for the summer as they look for additions in the summer.

But the 22-year-old French defender is also a target for Liverpool and Arsenal having impressed with Sevilla this term in his second season with the club.

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen on bringing the powerful centre-back to Anfield in the summer to secure his backline even further, as he hopes to push for major titles for the Reds next season.

Arsene Wenger on the other hand has seen several questions thrown at his current defensive setup, with his current backline shipping in cheap goals all season long.

Injuries as well as an ageing first choice defensive setup is another reason the Arsenal boss is desperate to make solid changes at the back in the summer, and he see’s fellow Frenchman Lenglet as a solution to some of his defensive woes going forward.

But SPORT claim Lenglet will not move to the Camp Nou except he is given assurances over game time.

It is claimed Lenglet will stay at the Sanchez Pizjuan if he is not convinced he will get a chance in the first team elsewhere.
