Arsenal’s move for Philippe Coutinho may not come to fusion, this follows from the comments of his agent Kia Joorabchian, per reports.
Coutinho has been unpopular since his move to the Camp Nou in 2018 and he has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier league.
The Brazilian midfield schemer was linked to rejoining Liverpool this summer but he has stayed put with the Blaugranas.
The Gunners emerged as potential destination for Coutinho, with reports claiming they will hold talks with Barcelona after the Joan Gamper Trophy at the Nou Camp today.
Barclona a re looking to recoup around £27million to send the player on loan but Arsenal are unlikely going to be able to meet this fee, given their meagre budget.
However, Joorabchian earlier revealed, when he was linked with a move to Manchester UNited, Coutinho would not play for another club in the Premier league except Liverpool
“Manchester United is a great club, I have players there and I have all the respect for them, but as far as Philippe goes, it would be an extremely difficult to a near-impossible move,” Joorabchian told talkSPORT.
“I would be very difficult for Philippe to play for any of Liverpool’s rivals, because he has such a great affinity towards Liverpool. His time there was fantastic. It would be hard for him to go to a rival.”
“Every time we’ve spoken about it we’ve had that same conversation, he would find it hard to play for another club in the Premier League.”
